*Harvard's School of Public Health estimated 1 billion people in all ethnicities and age groups globally are deficient in vitamin D. This report also cites several studies that link the line connecting San Francisco to Philadelphia and Athens to Beijing, odds are that you don’t get enough vitamin D. The same holds true if you don’t get outside daily and walk in the suns light.
Vitamin D helps with bone strength, muscle retention, heart health, and the immune system. Studies have also shown that Vitamin D can boost elasticity and collagen production in the skin while also reducing the appearance of lines, dark spots and acne.
*Did you know? If you spend 6 days being exposed to the sun you can make up for 49 days of no sunlight exposure. Your body fat acts like a storage battery for vitamin D when you spend time in the sun, vitamin D that is stored in fat is released over time.

Getting time under the sun is a good way to start a walking meditation practice, so let's plan to walk.
